To install the tp-link Archer T2UB Wi-Fi Bluetooth USB Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Before starting, if you plan on using Bluetooth and already have connected Bluetooth devices, disable them by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Manage, and going to Device Manager. Expand the Bluetooth node, right-click on the existing Bluetooth device, and select Disable. Make sure all existing Bluetooth devices (built-in and third party) are disabled.
2. Insert the adapter into a USB port on your computer directly.
3. Insert the CD that came with the adapter and run the Autorun.exe file. Alternatively, you can download the drivers manually from the tp-link Support page at www.tp-link.com.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers. For Wi-Fi installation, click and follow the onscreen instructions. For Bluetooth installation, click and follow the onscreen instructions.
5. If a message about an unknown publisher pops up, select Yes to continue. If Windows User Account Control requires admin credentials, enter the username and password of your Windows administrator account.
6. Once the installation is finished, restart your computer.
7. After restarting, your Wi-Fi Bluetooth USB adapter should be listed in the "Device Manager" if the driver is installed correctly.
Note: If the driver installation fails, try disabling your antivirus software and firewall, then try again. If you encounter a Windows Security message in Windows 7, refer to the tp-link FAQ at https://www.tp-link.com/faq-2760.html.
