To install the COMET T0210 Transmitter, please follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location for wall mounting the transmitter. Ensure that the area is not prone to condensation or exposure to water or other liquids.
2. Use the two mounting holes on the sides of the transmitter case to attach it securely to the wall.
3. Before connecting the transmitter, make sure the power supply voltage is turned off.
4. Unscrew the four screws on the transmitter lid and remove the lid to access the interconnection terminals.
5. Lace the cable through a gland on the case wall and connect the cable to the terminals, ensuring the signal polarity is respected.
6. Use a suitable screwdriver to open the self-clamping terminals. Insert the screwdriver into the upper terminal hole and lever it to open the terminals.
7. After connecting the cable, tighten the glands and case lid with the inserted packing to ensure IP65 protection.
8. If you are using the T0210L transmitter version with a watertight male connector, connect the complementary female connector according to the table in Appendix A of the manual.
9. It is recommended to use a shielded twisted copper cable with a maximum length of 15m. The cable should be located indoors and should not be led in parallel along the power cabling to avoid interference signals.
10. Once the installation is complete, you can turn on the power supply voltage.
