To install the EATON AG II IT DN120xxR AC Surge Protection Device, please follow these steps:
1. Verify the system voltage and configuration on the label to ensure it is appropriate for your application.
2. Ensure that installation and maintenance are performed by qualified personnel only to avoid the risk of electric shock.
3. Disconnect from energized circuits before installing or servicing the device.
4. Always follow safety rules and regulations applicable to all devices connected to power lines, as well as national standards and safety regulations.
5. Before installation, check the external mechanical integrity of the device. Do not install products with visible damage.
6. The use of the device is only permitted within the limits shown and stated in the installation instructions. Opening or tampering with the device will invalidate the warranty.
7. Keep the connecting leads as short as possible, without loops, and do not exceed a total length of 0.5m per Surge Protective Device (SPD).
8. The minimum distance of the SPD from any grounded conductive surface should be 0 mm.
9. The EATON AG II IT DN120xxR AC Surge Protection Device is an open type SPD intended for installation within a suitable enclosure in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
