Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing and setting up the Philips CL550 Superslim Scene Switch:
1. Before installation, make sure the power to the lighting circuit is turned off.
2. Remove the existing light switch from the wall by unscrewing the mounting screws.
3. Disconnect the wires from the old switch and connect them to the corresponding terminals on the Philips CL550 Superslim Scene Switch. The switch has clearly labeled terminals for live, neutral, and load wires.
4. Once the wires are securely connected, mount the Philips CL550 Superslim Scene Switch onto the wall using the provided screws.
5. Turn on the power to the lighting circuit.
6. To set up the scene switch functionality, follow these steps:
a. Press and hold the scene switch button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing.
b. Within 20 seconds, press the desired scene button (1, 2, or 3) on the switch to assign a scene to it. The LED indicator will stop flashing, indicating that the scene has been successfully assigned.
c. Repeat step b for each scene button to assign different scenes to them.
7. To activate a scene, simply press the corresponding scene button on the switch. The lights will adjust to the pre-set scene.
