To install the Hansgrohe 04232340 Trio/quattro Diverter Trim, please follow these steps:
1. Cut the plaster shield so that it extends ¹⁄₁₆" (1 mm) outside the surface of the finished wall.
2. Seal the wall around the plaster shield with waterproof sealant to prevent water damage.
3. Install the slip coupling, cutting it so that it extends ⅝" (17 mm) outside the surface of the finished wall.
4. Install the extension spindle. For the 04232xx0 model, cut the extension spindle so that it extends ¾" (20 mm) outside the surface of the finished wall. For the 04880xx0 model, cut the extension spindle so that it extends 1⅛" (29 mm) outside the surface of the finished wall.
5. Install the escutcheon and secure it with the nut and o-ring.
6. Install the snap connector and tighten the xxxx .
7. Install the handle and tighten the xxxx using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench.
8. Install the xxxx cover.
9. Install the o-rings on the icons and press the icons into the escutcheon.
