To install the ALDI MAL 4030-039A Brilo LED Pendant Light, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation work, ensure that the mains power line is voltage-free. Turn off the safety cutout or unscrew the protection fuse. The switch must be "OFF".
2. Make sure that no gas, water, or electricity pipes and wires can be drilled through or damaged in your chosen mounting location before drilling the mounting holes.
3. When mounting the light, ensure that the attachment material is suitable for the subsurface and capable of carrying the weight of the fixture. The manufacturer is not liable for improper installation on the relevant subsurface.
4. Connect the supply terminals as follows: L = Phase, N = Neutral conductor, G = Earthed conductor. Protective covers and end covers for mains voltage control parts must always be mounted.
5. Do not install the light on a damp or conductive subsurface.
6. During operation, the lamp parts and illuminants can reach temperatures of more than 60°C. Do not touch the light during operation. The lamp may only be adjusted and positioned after it has cooled down.
7. The ALDI MAL 4030-039A Brilo LED Pendant Light is suitable for indoor use only in private households. It has a protection class rating of "IP20".
8. Do not look directly into the light source (illuminant, LED, etc.).
9. The light source of this lamp is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire should be replaced. The operating device (transformer, ballast, control unit, etc.) may only be replaced by the manufacturer or trained personnel.
10. This light is not suitable for use with dimmable electric circuits.
11. The light features an electronic step dimmer. The "3" dimmer settings of the light can be cycled by repeatedly switching the power on and off within ">1" second each. It is only important that the mains is connected and disconnected from the light.
12. The lamp has a memory function. It will switch on using an external light switch after a minimum off period of approximately "5" seconds with the last selected function or switch position.
