To connect the JXCT RS485 Modbus JXBS-3001-NPK-RS Soil NPK Sensor to your computer, you will need a USB to RS485 converter. Here are the steps to connect the sensor:
1. Make sure the sensor is properly connected to the power supply (12V-24V DC).
2. Connect the RS485 communication port of the sensor to the USB to RS485 converter using an RS485 cable.
3. Plug the USB end of the converter into an available USB port on your computer.
4. Install the necessary drivers for the USB to RS485 converter if prompted.
5. Open the sensor monitoring software provided by JXCT.
6. In the software, select the correct serial port that corresponds to the USB to RS485 converter connected to your computer.
7. Click on the connected device to get real-time sensor data information.
