To set up the EPSON WF-C5890 Series printer, follow these steps:

1. Remove all protective materials attached to the printer. Do not dispose of them as they may be needed when transporting the printer.
2. Insert the output tray.
3. Select a language, country, and time settings.
4. Press the BK ink tray and pull it out. Shake the ink supply unit 10 times.
   Note: For the initial setup, use the ink supply units that came with the printer. These ink supply units cannot be saved for later use and will be used to charge the print head.
5. Unpack the printer.
6. Fit the ink supply unit into the ink tray.
7. Insert and close all of the ink supply units in the order Y, M, C.
8. Wait until the charging process is finished.
9. Load paper in the paper cassette with the printable side facing down.
10. Set the paper size and paper type for the paper cassette. These settings can be changed later.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform print quality adjustments.
12. Make the fax settings if needed. These settings can also be changed later.
13. Connect a phone cable if necessary. Use the provided phone cable or one suitable for your area.
   Note: If you want to share the same phone line as your telephone, remove the cap and connect the telephone to the EXT. port.
