No, the MINIMES MiniMeis G4 Baby Shoulder Carrier is not suitable for newborn babies. It is recommended to only use the carrier with a child weighing at least 16 lb (7 kg) and who is at least 6 months old. The child should also be able to sit up unaided. Using the carrier with a newborn baby may pose a safety risk and is not recommended. Please refer to the user manual for more information on the recommended age and weight limits for the carrier.
