To install the TRAN LED FLEX Light Square, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the electrical safety regulations of your country are followed, and have a qualified electrician install and maintain the product.
2. Before starting any installation, maintenance, or connection, make sure the mains power is disconnected.
3. Operate the light according to the instructions and ensure that the working voltage meets the product's requirements.
4. If installing the light underwater, comply with NEC 680 regulations and use designated accessories for installation.
5. Do not allow water contact during wiring and device installation.
6. The product is only suitable for use in sea or fresh water and should not be used in hot water or corrosive liquids.
7. Keep the cable junction box on the shore and at least 4 inches above the ground.
8. Do not energize the light for more than 30 minutes while it is still in its coil packaging.
9. Do not cut, renovate, or dismantle the light.
For surface or embedded installation, the following steps should be followed:
1. Ensure that the installation surface is hard and flat, such as cement, brick masonry, marble, ceramic tiles, or mosaic tiles.
2. Use xxxx fixation or adhesive fixation to secure the light. The xxxx fixation method requires professional tools and experienced installers, while the adhesive fixation method is simpler but may have higher costs and potential aging and loosening of the adhesive.
For curve installation, follow these steps:
1. Arrange the short plastic profiles in the desired arc shape on the mounting surface and secure them using xxxx fixation or adhesive fixation.
2. Insert the light into the joined plastic profiles to complete the installation.
When installing the light in a swimming pool, consider the following regulations and requirements:
1. Follow the NEC 680 regulation, which specifies the distance between the bottom of the terminal box and the ground should be at least 4 inches.
2. The vertical distance to the water surface should be at least 8 inches, and the horizontal distance to the water edge should be at least 48 inches.
3. Use an isolating low voltage power supply with ungrounded output specifically evaluated for swimming pool use.
4. Prepare a slot for implanting profiles on the mounting surface, with suggested slot sizes of 0.95 inches in width and 0.98 inches in depth.
5. Follow the xxxx fixation installation method using plastic profiles, rubber expansion bolts, and stainless steel screws.
6. Connect the light to the power supply or controller/dimmer, and test the lights after installation.
For troubleshooting common issues, refer to the manual:
1. If there is brightness and color temperature drift, check if the wiring cable is too thin or too long, and if there is abnormal voltage drop or low terminal voltage.
2. If some LED light sources are dark, check if the light is over-bended, causing damage to the inner circuit.
3. If the light flickers abnormally, check if the power supply and dimmer are selected properly and if the connection of the route is in poor contact.
4. If the light turns on and off repeatedly, check if the driver is overloaded and if the terminal voltage is lower than 22.5V.
