To calibrate the HACH 9531700 Pocket Pro Temperature Tester, follow these steps:
1. Set the power to on.
2. Push the Calibration/Settings key to enter calibration mode. "CUS" will appear on the bottom line of the display.
3. Place the sensor in the sample.
4. When the measurement is stable, push and hold the key until the temperature value of the sample appears on the display.
5. Push the key again. The entered value will flash three times and then stop. "END" will appear on the display.
6. Rinse the sensor with deionized water and blot it dry.
It is recommended to calibrate the tester before initial use and whenever the results drift or are not accurate. Before the initial calibration and after dry storage, soak the sensor in the sample or tap water for several minutes.
