To mount the ROCKLER Miter Gauge Fence to your table saw, follow these steps:
1. Start by preparing your Precision Miter Gauge by installing the 5/16"-18 x 1" T-Bolts and 1" Easy to Grip Knobs in the slotted holes on the front face of the gauge.
2. Turn off your saw and ensure that the saw blade has come to a complete stop before adjusting any part of the Miter Gauge Fence.
3. Set the Miter Gauge in the left miter slot on your table saw.
4. Slide the Fence Body and attached Fence Extension onto the 5/16"-18 x 1" T-Bolts of the Miter Gauge. Make sure that the Fence Body extends a couple of inches past the Miter Gauge on the right side. The final position will be set later.
5. Insert a 5/16"-18 x 2" T-Bolt in the mounting hole in the Fence Extension and in the outermost hole at each end of the Fence Body. Loosely thread a 1" Easy-to-Grip xxxx on each T-Bolt.
6. Attach a 2" section of the MDF Fence Face to the Fence Extension by sliding it onto the T-Bolt and tightening the 1" Easy-to-Grip xxxx .
7. Slide the remaining section of the MDF Fence Face onto the two 5/16"-18 x 2" T-Bolts on the Fence Body. Align the interior end of the MDF Fence Face with the interior end of the Fence Body and tighten the 1" Easy-to-Grip Knobs to secure it. The MDF Fence Face will extend about 2" beyond the end of the Fence Body to provide zero-clearance support for your workpiece.
8. Ensure that the aluminum Fence Body, once locked in position, will not contact the table saw blade during cutting operations.
9. Adjust the position of the Miter Gauge Fence as desired and tighten the 1" Easy-to-Grip Knobs on the Miter Gauge to lock the Fence Body in place.
Please note that these instructions are a summary and it is important to review the full instructions and safety warnings provided in the manual before using the ROCKLER Miter Gauge Fence.
