To install the Insane Audio TJ4001 in your Jeep Wrangler TJ or Unlimited, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning the installation.
2. Remove the top Dash Panel and the Center Panel of the dashboard.
3. Remove the Glove Box by taking off the strap on the right.
4. Disconnect the security bracket at the rear of the stock radio (if applicable).
5. Remove the four screws on the faceplate of the old stereo and slide it out.
6. Disconnect the Radio Antenna and the old Wiring harness from the OEM Factory Harness.
7. Connect the main power wire harness (A) to the TJ4001.
8. Connect the Audio RCA wire harness (B) for aftermarket amps and speakers only (not needed for OEM sound system).
9. Connect the USB Fast Charge harness (C).
10. Connect the IA CarPlay/Android Auto wire harness (D).
11. Connect the RockCam wire harness (E) for camera connections.
12. Connect the USB wire harness (F).
13. Connect the Insane TV wire harness (H) if Insane TV module is needed.
14. Connect the WiFi antenna (I).
15. Connect the Bluetooth antenna (J).
16. Connect the GPS antenna (K).
17. Connect the External Microphone (L).
18. Connect the Digital Optical Output (M) if desired (optional).
19. Connect the AM/FM Radio antenna (N).
