To connect the TAP100MP microphone preamplifier to your audio device, follow these steps:
1. Use a 3-pin XLR cable to connect the output of your passive ribbon or dynamic microphone to the Input Jack of the TAP100MP.
2. Use another 3-pin XLR cable to connect the Output Jack of the TAP100MP to your audio device. You can connect it directly to your audio interface, handheld recorder, or audio mixer.
3. Turn on the 48V phantom power on your audio device. This is necessary for the TAP100MP to operate.
4. Adjust the levels (gain) on your audio device to achieve the desired audio levels.
Note: If you don't have enough room to directly connect the TAP100MP to the microphone, you can use an XLR cable in between the preamp and the mic.
