To turn on the TEMPO COMMUNICATIONS 200FP Filtered Tone Probe, press and hold the main control button until the unit beeps. The unit will beep with a lower pitch to indicate that it is turning on. The signal LED will flash momentarily every 4 seconds as a visible ON indicator and reminder when the probe is on but not detecting a signal.
