To install and use the NEO TOOLS 14-508 Angle Grinder, follow these steps:
1. Installation:
- Before starting installation, read the safety instructions in the manual carefully.
- Only qualified and trained personnel should perform the installation and adjustment of pneumatic tools.
- Do not modify the pneumatic tool as it can impact efficiency and safety.
- Inspect the tool periodically for visible symptoms of damage.
- Contact the manufacturer for replacement of the rating plate if necessary.
2. General Safety Rules:
- Always use eye protection measures resistant to impacts.
- Make sure the processed object is securely fixed.
- Check the rotational speed of the tool and ensure it does not exceed the manufacturer's specified speed.
- Disconnect the device from the power source before maintenance or changing an accessory.
- Be cautious of entanglement hazards and keep loose clothes, jewelry, hair, and gloves at a safe distance from the tool.
- Follow proper hand protection guidelines and hold the tool correctly.
- Use lubricating media recommended by the manufacturer.
- Wear protective glasses, gloves, and clothes.
- Be aware of repetitive movement hazards and consult a doctor if experiencing discomfort or pain.
- Use only recommended accessories and do not exceed their rated speed.
- Be cautious of workplace hazards such as slipping, tripping, and falling.
- Be cautious of dusts and fumes related hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Protect yourself from high noise levels by using hearing protection.
- Be cautious of vibration hazards and wear warm clothes when working in low temperatures.
- Follow additional safety instructions regarding pneumatic tools, such as cutting off air supply when not in use and avoiding direct air stream at yourself or others.
3. Connection to Compressed Air System:
- Fix the connecting piece (coupler) to the end of the flexible hose and tighten with a key.
- Connect the quick coupler to the connection.
- The pneumatic grinder is now ready for use.
4. Use:
- Before each use, check the tool for any signs of damage and keep it clean.
- Dry the condensed moisture inside the tool, compressor, and pipes before each use.
- Before installing, removing, replacing accessories, or performing maintenance, turn off the power source, drain the air from the hose, and disconnect the device from the hose.
- Lubricate the device with oil intended for pneumatic equipment before starting work and after each hour of continuous operation.
- Use accessories and consumables recommended by the manufacturer.
- Avoid excessive pressure, sticking to the cutting blade, and making excessively deep cuts.
- Be cautious of kickback and avoid the area in front of and behind the rotating cutting blade.
- Support boards or large objects to reduce the risk of kickback.
- Use caution when cutting holes in walls or operating in other invisible areas.
- Use the appropriate size of sandpaper and avoid sandpaper sticking out from the sanding pad.
- Be cautious of brush wires and prevent brush contact with the guard.
- Follow the instructions for assembling and adjusting the blade guard.
- Follow the instructions for disc installation and installation of working tools with a threaded hole.
- Perform regular maintenance, including oiling the grinder and keeping it clean.
