To adjust the sensitivity of the , follow these steps:
1. Locate the "Range" dial on the fixture's control panel.
2. Rotate the "Range" dial to the preferred setting:
- 5Ft: 5 feet, short range
- 30Ft: 30 feet, average range
- 60Ft: 60 feet, long range
- Max.: Up to 100 feet, extra long range
3. The chosen setting will determine the detection range of the motion sensor. A lower range will result in a tighter and more sensitive detection zone, while a higher range will provide a broader and less sensitive detection zone.
4. To confirm the set distance, perform a "walk-by test." Walk straight across the sensor field at the approximate distance set on the "Range" control xxxx .
5. If the test fails, try adjusting the sensor head toward the detection zone. The sensor head can be adjusted up, down, left, or right.
Note: The fixture will reliably operate between temperatures of -20°F to 122°F. At temperatures above 92°F, the PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor may not detect body heat effectively.
