To connect the TTi LISN 1600 Line Impedance Stabilisation Network to your equipment for conducted emissions measurements, follow these steps:
1. Place the LISN and your equipment in the positions required by the test specification.
2. Bond the LISN to the measurement ground plane using a short, thick conductor connected to the binding post on the front panel.
3. Connect the mains cable of your equipment to the outlet of the LISN.
4. Set the source selector switch on the LISN to "none".
5. Set the limiter and attenuator switch on the LISN to -20dB.
6. Connect the coaxial cable between the LISN and your measuring receiver or spectrum analyzer.
7. Check the integrity of the LISN safety ground connection before switching the power on.
8. Finally, switch on your equipment being tested.
