To select the operation modes and OCP limits on the IR3889 evaluation board, you can use the jumpers provided on the board. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Operation Modes:
- Locate the "Ton/Mode" section on the board.
- Use the jumpers labeled "FCCM" and "DEM" to select the desired mode.
- If you want to use the FCCM (Frequency Current Control Mode), place the jumper on the "FCCM" position.
- If you want to use the DEM (Discontinuous Energy Mode), place the jumper on the "DEM" position.
- Additionally, you can select the switching frequency by using the jumpers labeled with different frequency options (e.g., 600 kHz, 800 kHz, 1000 kHz, 1200 kHz).
2. OCP Limits:
- Locate the "ILIM" section on the board.
- Use the jumpers labeled "OCP1," "OCP2," "OCP3," and "OCP4" to select the desired OCP limit.
- OCP1 represents the lowest OCP limit, while OCP4 represents the highest OCP limit.
- Place the jumper on the corresponding OCP position based on your desired current limit.
