To cancel the weight (tare) when using the GP-12 Animal Weighing Bowl with the GX-L/GF-L series, you can press the ZERO key or the TARE key. For the GP series, you need to press the RE-ZERO key to cancel the weight (tare). Once the weight is canceled, you can place a sample animal in the bowl to weigh it.
Please note that when using the animal weighing mode (Hold function), the average weight of the animal can be displayed. For more detailed instructions on this function, please refer to the instruction manual.
Additionally, it is important to be aware that when using the animal weighing mode, the weighing range that can be used is approximately 4 kg less than the weighing capacity of the scale.
If necessary, you can use the GP-12 lid with the animal weighing bowl. However, when performing sensitivity adjustment on the balance, it is recommended to use the normal weighing pan instead of the animal weighing bowl.
Lastly, if you have performed sensitivity adjustment on the balance using the animal weighing bowl and then replace it with the normal weighing pan, the display will show "-". In such cases, it is necessary to re-adjust the balance sensitivity using the normal weighing pan.
