To install the PYRAMID 071971 Honda VFR1200F and VFR1200X Hugger, follow these steps:
1. Remove the rear wheel. If you don't have a center or paddock stand, you can jack the bike up against the bottom linkage with caution.
2. Undo the bolt that fixes the plastic molding on top of the swing arm and insert the black spacer (CSPAM60011) into the recess.
3. Remove the grey plastic plugs from the two drilled and faced holes in the swing arm's vertical face.
4. Loosely attach the Hugger using the two M6 X 20mm Hex Head Bolts (CBOLM60020). Place an M6 Flat Steel Washer (CWASM60001) under the bolt head and an M6 Large Plastic Washer (CWASM60004) on each mounting bolt between the Outer Hugger face and the swinging arm to act as a spacer.
5. Use the M6 X 25mm Flanged Button Head Bolt (CBOLM60011) to fix the Hugger on top of the swing arm. Make sure to place the provided spacer (CSPA60011) between the Hugger fab and the plastic molding.
6. Fully tighten all three mounting points and re-fit the rear wheel.
