To switch on and use the Laserliner SuperPlane-Laser 3D Pro Cross Line Laser, follow these steps:
1. Inserting the batteries: Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the device and insert four 1.5V alkaline batteries (type AA) or rechargeable batteries, ensuring the correct polarity.
2. Horizontal and vertical leveling: Release the transport restraint and set the slide switch to "ON". The horizontal laser line will appear. You can switch between the horizontal and vertical laser lines using the selection button.
3. Slope mode: If you need to measure sloping planes or tilts, do not release the transport restraint. Set the slide switch to "OFF" and press and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the slope mode. Select the laser line you want to use with the selector button. In slope mode, the laser lines will not align automatically and will flash to indicate this.
4. Calibration check: If you want to check the calibration of the laser, position the device midway between two walls that are at least 5 meters apart. Turn on the device to release the transport restraint and mark point A1 on one wall. Then, turn the device 180° and mark point A2 on the other wall. The difference between points A2 and A3, marked by turning the device again, is the tolerance. If A2 and A3 are more than 0.35 mm/m apart, an adjustment is necessary.
5. Checking the vertical and horizontal lines: To check the vertical line, position the device about 5 meters from a wall and align the vertical laser to a plumb line. The deviation between the laser line and the plumb line should not be greater than ± 1.75 mm. To check the horizontal line, position the device about 5 meters from a wall and mark point B. Then, turn the laser cross to the right and mark point C. The horizontal line from point C should be level with point B within ± 1.75 mm. Repeat the process by turning the laser to the left.
Remember to regularly check the adjustment before use, after transport, and after extended periods of storage. For more detailed information and safety instructions, please refer to the Laserliner SuperPlane-Laser 3D Pro Cross Line Laser User Manual.
