To set up the HI-TECH Slant Cabber Diamond 8 Inch Slant Cabber, follow these steps:
1. Place the machine on a sturdy, level surface in a well-lit area.
2. Ensure the machine is securely placed and away from open electrical outlets.
3. Check for any damaged parts and make sure all parts are properly aligned and functioning.
4. Use only identical Slant Cabber parts for replacement parts.
5. Use only recommended accessories for the machine.
6. Intended for indoor use only.
7. Avoid using the machine near flammable liquids.
8. Connect the clear drain tube to the fitting on the right side of the machine and place the other end into a bucket.
9. Fill the top water reservoir with clean water and adjust the modular water tube to the center of the disc.
10. Assemble the diamond smoothing discs and Tech-11 polishing pad by applying the adhesive side to the clean backing plates.
11. Secure the 180# diamond lap disc onto the silver arbor using the black xxxx and washer.
12. Put on safety goggles and turn on the machine using the on/off power control xxxx .
13. Use the black water control valve to control the water flow while grinding.
14. Adjust the arbor up and down using the Allen wrench to keep the discs below the black spray shield.
