Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing the Joker Machine 08-10 Stalker Shift Linkage Rod:
1. Gather the necessary tools: You will need a 7/16" wrench, a 1/2" wrench, a 3/16" allen key or T-handle, and some blue Loctite.
2. Remove the stock shift linkage: Carefully remove the stock shift linkage from your bike. Be cautious not to damage any motor fins during this process.
3. Adjust the Joker Machine Shift Linkage Rod: Before installing it on your bike, adjust the Joker Machine Shift Linkage Rod to match the stock length. However, do not fully tighten the heim joint lock nuts at this stage.
4. Attach the rear Heim joint: Attach the rear Heim joint to the front side of the rear linkage arm first.
5. Attach the front Heim joint: Attach the front Heim joint to the back side of the front linkage arm. Make sure to reuse the stock washer.
6. Test the length: Test and make sure that the length of the linkage rod is correct so that the gearshift operates smoothly.
