To add fluid to the hydraulic pump of the DAKE 10 Utility Hydraulic Press, follow these steps:
1. Retract the ram that is connected to the pump.
2. Place the pump on a smooth, level surface with the handle in the up position.
3. Remove the filler plug, which is a small plug near the top of the pump.
4. Lift the plug end of the pump about 3/4 of an inch off the ground to properly fill the reservoir.
5. Replace the plug to ensure a quality seal.
6. Reinstall the pump on the press.
7. Open the valve and pump continuously to properly bleed the system.
