To change the lighting effects on the Sharkoon PureWriter RGB Mechanical Low Profile Keyboard, you can follow the instructions provided in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Connect the keyboard to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Make sure the keyboard is set to the US layout.
3. Familiarize yourself with the different lighting effects available. The manual lists eight lighting effects, numbered 1 to 8.
4. Lighting effects 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are automatically activated. Lighting effect 2 is not available.
5. To activate lighting effect 4, press the Fn key and Scroll Lock simultaneously.
6. To activate lighting effect 8 (pulsating), press the Fn key and Home simultaneously.
7. To change the color of the lighting effects, refer to the "Individual Color Settings" section in the manual.
- First, select the "Permanent" lighting effect by pressing the Fn key and End key twice.
- The "Permanent" lighting effect has seven preset colors (red, green, yellow, blue, turquoise, pink, and white).
- Press Fn + End to cycle through the preset colors.

11. Press the keys that should be permanently illuminated in the selected profile.
12. Press a key several times to change its illumination color. Choose from red, green, yellow, blue, turquoise, pink, and white.
13. To turn off the illumination on a particular key, cycle through all the colors until the lighting goes out.
14. While pressing and holding the Fn key, press the ESC key to save the selected key illumination in the previously selected lighting profile key.
