To connect the VISION VX 8000 PRO Ultra Class D Mono Amplifier to your car audio system, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the ground connection from your vehicle's battery before installation to avoid any risk of electric shock and short circuits.
2. Choose an appropriate location for the installation of the amplifier that ensures sufficient air circulation. Suitable places include spare wheel cavities and open spaces in the trunk area.
3. Do not install the amplifier in locations where it will be exposed to high humidity and dust, as this may cause malfunctions. Install it in a location that is protected from these elements.
4. Mount the amplifier and other components of the sound system securely to prevent them from becoming loose and causing harm or damage in the passenger room.
5. Ensure correct connection of all terminals. Faulty connections can cause fire hazards and damage to the amplifier.
6. Connect the 12V terminals of the amplifier to the positive poles of the power capacitors using suitable cables. Then connect the positive poles of the power capacitors to the 12V positive pole of the additional battery. Use sufficiently dimensioned cables for these connections.
7. Connect the turn-on signal from your head unit/car radio (REM) to the REM terminals of the power capacitors. Then connect the REM terminal of one of the power capacitors to the REM terminal of the amplifier. This will allow the amplifier and power capacitors to turn on or off with the head unit/car radio.
8. Connect the minus poles of the power capacitors to a suitable contact ground point on the vehicle's chassis. Then connect the minus poles of the power capacitors to the GND terminal of the amplifier. Ensure that the ground wires are as short as possible and have a stable and safe electric connection to the negative pole of the battery.
9. Install suitable fuses and holders in the power cables near the 12V terminal of the amplifier. The distance between the fuses and the amplifier should not exceed 15 cm. Also, install an extra fuse for the +12V power cable near the battery to secure the power cable.
10. It is recommended to operate the amplifier with a power capacitor to ensure a more constant power supply. Mount the power capacitor as close to the amplifier as possible.
