To install the Steel Horse Audio ST900 Platinum Speaker System on your motorcycle, follow these steps:
1. Determine the diameter of your handlebar and use the appropriate bracket (1" or 1-1/4") included in the kit. If you have a different diameter handlebar (7/8", 1-1/8", or 1-1/2"), you can request the bracket separately.
2. Install the brackets on the handlebar in a position that does not obstruct the rider's view. Use the included allen screws to secure the brackets to the handlebar.
3. Once the brackets are installed, attach the speakers to the brackets. Remove the nut and lock washer from the speaker wire, feed the wire through the bracket hole, and attach the speakers to the brackets. Tighten the nut and lock washer to secure the speakers. Make sure not to over-tighten.
4. Adjust the speakers so they are directed at the rider's head. Loosen the nut on the speaker stem slightly and move the speaker up or down to align it properly. Ensure that all screws are securely fastened and tightened.
5. Route the speaker wires through the bike's frame to where the amplifier will be installed.
Note: It is important to secure the wiring away from moving parts, pinch points, or extreme heat to avoid any damage.
