To install and hang the Bocci 73.13 Semi Rigid pendant light fixture, please follow the instructions provided in the manual:
1. Measure and mark the position of the light fixture canopy on the ceiling.
2. Ensure that you have a robust 16mm (5/8") plywood backing or wood blocking to securely anchor to the structural substrate. Connect the plywood backing to the structural ceiling substrate.
3. Connect the power supplies to line voltage. For Xenon (110V) or LED, connect the black wire to black and the white wire to white. For Xenon (230V), connect the black wire to brown and the white wire to blue. Connect the green wire with a yellow stripe to the bare copper wire or green wire in the junction box for the ground connection.
4. Anchor the canopy into the plywood backing using the provided fasteners.
5. Carefully uncoil the braided coaxial cable in a spool-like manner, ensuring it is completely uncoiled to avoid kinks.
6. Plug the lamp into the lamp socket. Slide the slotted cap through the cable and push down to lock it in position.
7. Each pendant terminates in a "headphone jack" type connector, which plugs into a receiving receptacle in the canopy. Compose your own pendant configuration on-site to create a unique fixture. After plugging in each pendant, turn the threaded sheath into place by hand to tighten it.
8. Check that each lamp is working properly by keeping power to the fixture on and lamps plugged in.
9. Mark a point directly above the desired location of each pendant and xxxx .
10. Ensure that the ceiling at the swag location is strong enough to hold 2kg (5lbs) before attaching the swag hook. Thread the swag hook onto the mounting plate, ensuring all the threads are engaged. Slide the ball end of the aircraft cable into the slot on the swag hook.
11. Push the valve on the cable gripper and adjust the position of the cable gripper so that the aircraft cable is roughly the same length as the coaxial cable. Apply a load to the cable to ensure it is locked. Trim off any excess aircraft cable using wire cutters. Feed the cable gripper through the slot next to the lamp socket.
12. Attach the pendant to the cap through the slotted grooves.
13. Slide the cap so that the two circles are concentric.
14. Partially unthread the exposed xxxx to lock the cap in position. Do not loosen the xxxx all the way.
15. Clean any fingerprints from the surfaces.
