The manual recommends digging the post holes down to your specified frost line. The depth of the hole will depend on your local regulations and frost line depth. For example, if your frost line is 36 inches, you should dig the hole 36 inches deep. Additionally, the manual suggests inserting 6 inches of gravel/filler into the bottom of both holes before setting the posts. Once the posts are in place, you can add wet or dry concrete mix according to the manufacturer's instructions to secure the posts.
