To install the Hampton Bay 65741 2 in 1 Wall Sconce, you have two options: hardwire installation or plug-in installation. Here are the steps for each:

Hardwire Installation:
1. Carefully unpack and lay out all the parts on a clean, level surface.
2. Remove the back plate by unscrewing the decorative nuts.
3. Remove the cord by turning the wire connectors counterclockwise and disconnecting it from the black and white cord.
4. Attach the mounting bracket to the outlet box using the provided screws.
5. Make the electrical connections by connecting the negative wire (white) from the fixture to the negative wire from the outlet box, the positive wires (black) from the fixture to the positive wires from the outlet box, and the bare copper wire from the fixture to the grounding conductor of the supply circuit. Secure all connections with wire connectors and wrap with electrical tape.
6. Push all excess wire and wire connections back into the outlet box.
7. Place the fixture over the mounting bracket and align the mounting screws with the holes on the fixture. Secure with decorative nuts.

8. Plug the fixture into an electrical outlet and turn on the power.
