Pre-Installation:
1. Compare all parts with the Hardware Included and Package Contents sections. If any part appears missing or damaged, do not install the product and contact Hampton Bay Customer Service.
2. Gather the necessary tools for installation.

Hardwire Installation:
1. Carefully unpack and lay all parts on a clean, level surface.
2. Remove the preassembled back plate by unscrewing the back plate screws.
3. Remove the electrical tape on the wire connectors and turn them counterclockwise to remove them from the black and white cord.
4. Unwire the black and white wire from the cord and slide the cord out through the hole.
5. Attach the mounting bracket to the outlet box using outlet box screws.
6. Make the electrical connections by connecting the negative wire (white) from the fixture to the negative wire from the outlet box, the positive wires (black) from the fixture to the positive wires from the outlet box, and the bare copper wire from the fixture to the grounding conductor of the supply circuit. Secure all connections with wire connectors and wrap electrical tape around them. Push excess wire and connections back into the outlet box.
7. Place the fixture over the mounting bracket and align the holes. Secure with mounting bracket screws.
8. Install two light bulbs into the socket on the fixture.

Plug-In Installation:
1. Carefully unpack and lay all parts on a clean, level surface.
2. Determine the desired location of the fixture, ensuring access to an electrical outlet and no obstructions.
3. Mark the anchor locations on the wall and drill 7 mm diameter holes.
4. Insert the anchors and tap them into the wall until secure.
5. Set two mounting wall screws into the anchors, leaving enough exposed to set into the keyhole slots on the fixture.
6. Align the keyhole slots on the fixture with the mounting wall screws and gently push the canopy toward the wall and slide down until secure.
7. Adjust the cord length if desired by following the instructions in the manual.
8. Install two light bulbs into the socket on the fixture.
