To pair the wireless remote with your smartphone, follow these steps:
1. Go into your phone settings and turn on Bluetooth.
2. Push the remote out from the tripod leg by pushing it from the inside of the leg.
3. Press and hold the remote button until a blinking blue light appears.
4. The blinking blue light indicates that the remote is pairing with your smartphone.
5. On your smartphone, you will see "remote control" as an available device. Select it to pair.
6. Go to your phone's camera app and open it.
7. Press the wireless remote shutter button to take a photo. Press it again to start recording a video and press it once more to stop.
Note: Once the remote is paired with your smartphone, you do not need to pair it again. Simply hold down the shutter button on the remote until the blinking light appears to connect. Hold down the shutter button again until the blinking light appears to disconnect.
