To test the integrity of the intrauterine balloon before using the Uterine PositionOR PRO™, you should follow these steps:
1. Prior to insertion, draw 7-10cc of air into a standard luer slip syringe.
2. Insert the syringe into the Inflation Valve with Pilot Balloon (7, Figure 1) of the Uterine PositionOR PRO™.
3. Inject the air into the balloon to confirm that it remains inflated.
4. If the balloon does not remain inflated, do not use the device. Discard it and use another Uterine PositionOR PRO™ unit.
It is important to ensure the integrity of the balloon before use to prevent any complications or risks during the procedure.
