To clean the metal grease filters of the Siemens LC67KHM60 Extractor Hood, follow these steps:
1. Open the glass front of the hood slowly and fully, holding it in the center.
2. Open the lock and swing down the metal grease filter, holding it from underneath with your other hand.
3. Take the metal grease filter out of the holder.
4. Clean the metal grease filters by soaking them in hot soapy water or by placing them in the dishwasher. If using hot soapy water, use a brush to clean the filters and rinse them thoroughly. If using the dishwasher, use normal domestic dishwashing detergents and select a temperature of no more than 50°C.
5. After cleaning, leave the metal grease filters to drain on an absorbent material.
6. Once the filters are dry, insert them back into the holder and lock them in place.
7. Make sure the metal grease filters are positioned correctly. If not, open the lock and reinsert them correctly.
Note: It is important to clean the metal grease filters regularly to prevent the risk of fire. Never operate the appliance without a grease filter.
