To connect the EIZO 3010 GA-SV 12 Inch Monochrome Monitor to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the computer to the video input connector on the rear of the monitor using a composite video signal cable. The connector is an RCA pin jack.
2. Plug both the monitor and the computer into a wall socket.
3. Turn on the monitor and the computer power switches. The indicator lamp on the monitor will light up when the power is turned on.
4. After a brief warm-up period, adjust the brightness and contrast controls on the front panel of the monitor to achieve a comfortable screen level.
5. The display stability, width, height, and position have been preset at the factory and should not require further adjustment. However, if further adjustment is needed due to design differences among computers, refer to the USER MAINTENANCE section of the user manual.
6. If you want to use the audio function of the monitor, input the audio signal to the 3.5mm mini-jack on the rear panel. Adjust the audio volume to the required level using the volume control on the front panel.
Please note that it is important to disconnect both the monitor and the computer from the AC power source while interconnecting the two units. Also, refer to the precautions while operating section in the user manual to ensure proper usage and maintenance of the monitor.
