To install the STAHL 253858 Series 8118 Junction Boxes, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary equipment for installation, including the junction box itself, cable glands (plastic or metal), and any optional miniature fuses.
2. Determine the appropriate location for the junction box installation, considering the electrical connections and the required IP66 degree of protection.
3. Prepare the cables by stripping the insulation and crimping core end sleeves if necessary.
4. Choose the appropriate cable glands for the entry points of the junction box. The product manual suggests using 2 x 8161/7-M25-1707-LT cable glands with plugs for both Entry 1 and Entry 2.
5. Install the cable glands by inserting them into the entry points and tightening them securely.
