Yes, the R STAHL 8280A Ex d Cabinet can be installed in both Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. It is designed with the new EXpressure technology that safely dissipates explosion pressure in cabinets, control boxes, and other enclosures. This technology allows the cabinet to be positioned as close as possible to the process in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas. The cabinet is manufactured in accordance with industrial cabinet dimensions and is made from stainless steel material. It is certified for gas explosion protection according to IECEx and ATEX standards. The specific certification for each model is indicated in the product feature section of the manual.
