To change the default admin password on the Uniview 3101C1CE-UNV-DVR Digital Video Recorder, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to the DVR using the default admin username and password. The default admin username is "admin" and the default password is "123456".
2. Once logged in, go to the settings menu. You can access the settings menu by clicking on the menu icon or by navigating through the interface.
3. In the settings menu, look for the "Account" or "User" section. This section allows you to manage user accounts and passwords.
4. Within the account/user section, locate the admin account and click on it to edit the settings.
5. In the admin account settings, you should see an option to change the password. Click on this option.
6. Enter your new password in the provided field. It is recommended to choose a strong password with at least 8 characters, including upper and lower case letters, digits, and symbols.
7. After entering the new password, confirm it by entering it again in the confirmation field.
8. Once you have entered and confirmed the new password, click on the "Save" or "Apply" button to save the changes.
9. Your admin password has now been changed. Make sure to remember the new password and keep it secure.
Note: It is important to change the default admin password to enhance the security of your Uniview DVR. Using a strong and unique password helps protect your device from unauthorized access.
