To replace the battery in the Nice MYGOBD Two-Way Transmitter, follow these steps:
1. Insert a hairpin or similar object through the hole provided to unlock and remove the rear shell of the transmitter.
2. Remove the old battery from the transmitter.
3. Replace the old battery with a new 3Vdc lithium battery of type CR2430, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
4. Insert the new battery into the transmitter.
5. Place the rear shell back onto the transmitter and lock it into place.
It is important to note that the battery life of the transmitter is approximately 3 years with 10 command transmissions per day. If the battery is flat or almost flat, the signaling LED may fade or emit red flashes during the transmission process. In such cases, it is recommended to replace the battery to restore normal transmitter operation. Ensure that the old battery is disposed of safely and in accordance with local regulations.
