To charge the anko MT-001 Body Trimmer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure to read the safety instructions in the user manual before charging the appliance.
2. The Body Trimmer contains a built-in lithium-ion battery, which should only be charged using the supplied USB cable.
3. Switch off and unplug the USB cable when charging is completed or when not in use.
4. Fully unravel the USB cable before using it to charge the Body Trimmer.
5. Plug the small end of the USB cable directly into the end of the handle of the Trimmer.
6. Plug the large end of the USB cable into a 5Vd.c. 1A USB charger (not supplied) and switch it on.
7. A red light on top of the Trimmer will illuminate, indicating that the battery is charging.
8. When the battery is fully charged, the red light will turn blue.
Note: Do not allow the Body Trimmer to charge for more than 12 hours. The normal charging time is approximately 2 hours with a 5Vd.c. 1A charger. If any abnormalities occur during charging, such as a burning smell or excessive heat, immediately turn off the charger and disconnect the USB cable. Contact Kmart for a replacement or seek assistance from a qualified electrical person.
