To replace the faceplate on the Kimberly-Clark ICON Automatic Soap and Sanitizer Dispenser, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the key into the lock on the dispenser and rotate it a quarter turn to unlock the dispenser. Gently pull the cover forward. The key can be removed at this point. Do not force the cover open as it should automatically open.
2. If there are screws securing the faceplate to the dispenser cover, remove them and dispose of them properly.
3. Locate the locking features on the faceplate on the inside cover. Release the faceplate by lifting on the release lever (red) and pushing up on the push tab (blue). Brace the underside of the faceplate.
4. Once the faceplate is released, remove it by taking it out from under the cover. Make sure to brace the underside of the faceplate to prevent it from falling to the floor.
5. Close the cover completely and ensure it locks shut.
6. Align the locking features (blue) on the new faceplate with the corresponding slots (red) on the dispenser front face. Push the new faceplate up against the dispenser, pressing firmly at the bottom corners. Ensure that the locking features are fully engaged into each slot and slide the faceplate upwards until it locks into position.
