To connect the SHARP HT-SB100 Soundbar to your TV, you have two options: HDMI ARC/CEC or digital optical audio connection.
1. HDMI ARC/CEC Connection:
a. Ensure that your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port.
b. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the Soundbar.
c. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
d. Turn on HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) on both the Soundbar and your TV. This allows you to control the Soundbar with your TV remote.
e. Select the HDMI ARC input on the Soundbar using the remote control or the function keys on the unit.
2. Digital Optical Audio Connection:
a. Locate the digital optical audio output port on your TV.
b. Connect one end of a digital optical audio cable to the digital optical audio input port on the Soundbar.
c. Connect the other end of the digital optical audio cable to the digital optical audio output port on your TV.
d. Select the digital optical input on the Soundbar using the remote control or the function keys on the unit.
