To install the XEGA S204G 3G-4G LTE Surveillance Camera, follow these steps:
1. Recommended installation method: Install the camera at a height of about 2.6m with an inclination angle of 15° to 30°. Adjust the angle manually using the real-time view in the "UBox" app on your mobile phone to focus on the motion detection areas for accurate trigger detection.
2. Download and register the "UBox" app on your mobile phone:
- Find the "UBox" app in the Google Play Store or App Store, or scan the provided QR code to download and install it.
- Open the app and choose your region to register an account using your mobile phone number or email address. It is recommended to verify the account through an email address for password retrieval.
3. Camera connection:
- Charge the camera using a 5V charger or the USB charge port of a computer. The LED will turn red during charging and turn off when fully charged.
- Insert a SIM card for network connection and a TF card for video recording.
- Power on the camera by setting the Power ON/OFF button to the "ON" position.
- After 1 to 2 minutes, the LED near the lens will remain lit in blue.
4. Connect to the camera:
- Open the "UBox" app and click "Add a device" to enter the Device List.
- Choose "Set up 4G Device" and check if the LED near the lens remains lit in blue.
- After 3 seconds, click "Next" to enter the QR code scanning interface.
- Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the camera. Once successfully scanned, the app will automatically connect to the camera.
- Modify the camera's name and location manually, then click "Next" to add the camera.
