To install the Sharkoon Cool Zero Silent Storm Power Supply into your PC case, follow these steps:
1. If you already have a power supply installed in your PC case, first shut down your PC and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet and the power supply.
2. Open your PC case according to the instructions provided in your PC case manual.
3. Disconnect all cables between the existing power supply and other PC components such as the motherboard, drives, and fans.
4. Remove the mounting screws that connect the existing power supply to the PC case and carefully remove the power supply from the case.
5. Insert the Sharkoon Cool Zero Silent Storm Power Supply into the PC case and place it against the power supply mounting on the rear panel.
6. Attach the power supply to the case using the provided screws. Make sure that the fan and air vents of the power supply are not covered.
7. Use the supplied cables to connect the power supply to the components. The connectors are coded to avoid incorrect connections. Pay attention to the labeling of the connections on the power supply.
8. Connect the cable with the 24-pin mainboard connector to the appropriate sockets on the power supply and the corresponding sockets on the motherboard.
9. If your motherboard has an additional 4-pin or 4+4-pin CPU connection, plug the connector into the socket on the motherboard and the power supply.
10. If your graphics card requires additional power, connect the 6-pin or 6+2-pin PCIe connector from the power supply to the graphics card.
11. Connect drives and other peripheral devices to the power supply using the appropriate connectors. Adapters are provided for devices with IDE or floppy connections.
12. Double-check all connections to ensure they are properly connected.
13. Close the PC case and connect the power cord to the power supply and a wall outlet.
14. Switch on the power supply using the on/off switch on the back of the device.
Please note that the cable connectors are designed to prevent improper connections. Do not force a connector into a socket using the incorrect alignment, as it can damage the power supply and your hardware.
