To connect the LP gas tank to the grill, follow these steps:
1. Place the foot ring of the 20 lb tank into the hole in the bottom panel of the grill. Make sure the tank valve is in the OFF position.
2. Inspect the valve connection port and regulator assembly for any damage or debris. Remove any debris.
3. Hand tighten the quick coupling nut on the regulator and hose assembly clockwise to a full stop. Do not use a wrench to tighten.
4. Open the tank valve fully (counterclockwise).
5. Use a soapy water solution to check all connections for leaks before attempting to light your grill. If a leak is found, turn the tank valve off and do not use your grill until the leak is repaired.
Note: Always turn off the gas supply at the LP gas tank when the grill is not in use.
