The PHILIPS RC048B Smartbring Direct Panel can be mounted using either the Visible Profile Ceiling Mounting (VPC) method or the Suspension Mounting method. Here are the steps for each method:
Visible Profile Ceiling Mounting (VPC):
1. Ensure that the luminaire is suitable for indoor use only.
2. Make sure to read the entire instruction manual before starting the installation process.
3. The luminaire should be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements.
4. Do not switch on the luminaire before completing the installation.
5. The luminaire should not be covered with thermal insulation or similar material under any circumstance.
6. If the external flexible cable or cord of the luminaire is damaged, it should be replaced exclusively by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similar qualified person to avoid hazards.
7. The light source contained in the luminaire should only be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similar qualified person.
8. The luminaire is compliant with IEC 60598 standards.
9. Avoid using the luminaire in corrosive atmospheres or with hazardous materials such as sulfur, chlorine, phthalate, etc.
Suspension Mounting:
1. The suspension wires are not included in the package and need to be ordered separately (2NC).
2. Ensure that the luminaire is suitable for indoor use only.
3. Make sure to read the entire instruction manual before starting the installation process.
4. The luminaire should be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements.
5. Do not switch on the luminaire before completing the installation.
6. The luminaire should not be covered with thermal insulation or similar material under any circumstance.
