To set the PUSH TO SET (PTS) mode on the PD10-M-RIM PTS exit device, follow these steps:
1. Depress the MM5 button and apply power to the device. The device will emit 1 SHORT beep, indicating that it is in PTS mode.
2. While depressing the push pad, apply power to the device by presenting the credential to the reader.
3. Continue to keep the pad depressed. The device will emit 1 LONG beep. After the beep has stopped, release the pad. The adjustment is now complete.
4. Test the new location. If it is not to your liking, repeat the above steps.
Please note that it is important to set the PTS mode before finishing the installation of the device.
