To connect the ELAN EL-IPD-AMP-2CH 2 Channel Audio Amplifier to your network, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a stable and functioning network with DHCP enabled.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 jack labeled "Network" on the rear panel of the amplifier.
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an available Ethernet port on your network router or switch.
4. Power on the amplifier by connecting the included power cord to the power input labeled "Power" on the rear panel of the amplifier, and then plugging the power cord into a power outlet.
5. Wait for the amplifier to boot up. The amplifier status LED on the front panel will indicate the status of the amplifier during the booting process.
6. Once the amplifier is powered on and connected to the network, it will automatically obtain an IP address from your network's DHCP server.
7. To verify that the amplifier is connected to the network, check the power/network status LED on the front panel. If the LED is solid blue, it indicates that the amplifier is powered on and connected to the network.
8. To control and route audio using Dante Audio Networking, you will need to configure the amplifier using the ELAN Configurator software. Refer to the ELAN IP Amp Design Guide for detailed instructions on how to configure the amplifier for Dante Audio Networking.
