The air compressor and tank assembly should be mounted in a cool and dry location, avoiding moisture and heat-prone areas. It is important to ensure that the compressor motor does not get wet. The compressor must be mounted flat and never at an angle. For large trucks, mounting locations within the engine compartment may be suitable if moisture and heat are not present. For passenger vehicles, the rear trunk is usually the most suitable location.
